The attached report is a compilation of data collected from 2024's Fake Patty's Day and how it compares to the past four years.
The report compares the counts for calls for service, law reports, citations, and arrests that occurred from March 1-3, 2024. The years 2017-2019 and 2022-2023 are used for comparison. 2020 and 2021 were excluded due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This report includes all reports within Riley County during this specified time. Any data that is subsequently corrected will not be included in this report.
For clarity purposes you will note there are different numbers listed for DUIs in this report. On page 3 of the report we indicate there was 1 DUI reported. This number is associated with the DUI issued by RCPD. RCPD additionally had a report of DUI with a Drug Offense so that was categorized under drug offenses and not DUI in this section of the report. On page 4, you will note there is a total of 12 DUIs. This number accounts for the 10 DUIs issued by KHP as well as the two by RCPD.
