Self was charged with distribution of a controlled substance causing death, use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation, and distribution of opiate/opium/stimulant/heroin dosage < 10 units.
The apprehension stems from an incident that occurred in June of 2023 wherein law enforcement officers investigated the overdose death of a 25-year-old individual in Manhattan, Kansas.
Total bond was set at $100,000. Self is currently confined at the Riley County Jail.
