Officers executed an operation this week that led to the arrest of Jesup McClelland and Adyson Westgate. These investigations are connected to the burglaries that occurred in the Manhattan area during the summer months.
McClelland, 25, of Manhattan, was arrested on Sept. 23 at approximately 3:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of Freemont Avenue in Manhattan on three counts of criminal use of a financial card. McClelland was issued a total bond of $12,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this release.
Westgate, 19, of Wamego, was arrested on Sept. 22 at approximately 12:42 p.m. in the 1800 block of Hayes Drive on two counts of criminal use of a financial card and one count of burglary to a vehicle. Westgate was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
