Arrests Made in Connection with November Shooting

Multiple arrests made in connection to an investigation into a November shooting incident.

Katrece Johnson, 39, of Manhattan was arrested on April 9, 2025, around 6:50 p.m. in the 1800 block of Claflin Road.  Johnson was charged with two counts of attempted murder in the 1st degree, three counts of criminal damage to property, unlawful discharge of a firearm in city limits, criminal discharge of firearm, two counts of contributing to a child's misconduct and two counts of aggravated endangering a child. Total Bond was set at $1,000,000.00.  Johnson remains confined at the time of this release. 

Dontreveon McGlory, 21, of Manhattan was arrested on April 9, 2025, around 3:00 p.m. in the 1800 block of Claflin Road.  McGlory was charged with two counts of attempted murder in the 1st degree, three counts of criminal damage to property, unlawful discharge of a firearm in city limits, criminal discharge of firearm and two counts of contributing to a child’s misconduct. Total bond was set at $1,000,000.00. McGlory remains confined at the time of this release. 

Dontaivious Temple, 17, of Manhattan was arrested on April 9, 2025, around 12:49 p.m. in the 2100 block of Poyntz Avenue.  Temple was charged with two counts of attempted murder in the 1st degree, three counts of criminal damage to property, unlawful discharge of a firearm in city limits and criminal discharge of firearm. Temple was issued no bond and remains confined at the time of this release. 

Victor Fuentes Jr, 20, of California was arrested on April 3, 2025, at 1001 S. Seth Child Road.  Fuentes Jr was arrested for his Riley County warrant for two counts of attempted murder in the 1st degree, Aggravated Robbery, aggravated endangering a child, contributing to child misconduct, three counts of criminal damage to property, and criminal discharge of a firearm.  Total bond was set at $750,000.00. Fuentes Jr. remains confined at the time of this release. 

Delron Tyree, 17, of Topeka, was arrested on April 3, 2025, at 1001 S. Seth Child Road.  Tyree was arrested for his Riley County warrant for 2 counts of attempted murder in the 1st degree, three counts of criminal damage to property, criminal use of a weapon, and criminal discharge of a firearm.  Tyree was issued no bond and remains confined at the time of this release. 

These arrests stem from an incident that occurred on November 30, 2024, where officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2000 block College Heights Rd, Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas.

In January 2025, an arrest was made in a connected December 2024 shooting investigation.
