There is currently a law enforcement presence near Eisenhower Middle School and Northview Elementary due to the report of suspicious individuals in the area.
There is not currently believed to be a threat to anyone at this time.
On December 15, 2023, around 12:29 p.m. the Riley County Police Department Communication Center received a call about two individuals walking near the school. The caller stated the individuals may have had a weapon, but it is unknown at this time. Out of an abundance of caution, schools were placed on secure campus while officers investigate. No individuals have been located at this time.
