Boyles was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution of a controlled substance causing death, distribution of opiate/opium/narcotic/stimulant/heroin dosage < 10 units, and use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation.
The apprehension stems from an incident that occurred in August of 2021 wherein law enforcement officers investigated the overdose death of a 36-year-old female. The investigation remains ongoing.
