Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Lee St and Anderson Ave on October 25, 2024, at approximately 7:33 a.m. After additional investigation, officers found a 2015 Honda Accord driven by a 15-year-old male struck a 16-year-old male pedestrian on a bicycle.  The pedestrian went to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. This investigation is still ongoing at this time. 

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 2300 block of Tuttle Creek Blvd on October 25, 2024, at approximately 3:40 p.m. Upon arrival, Officers assisted the Kansas Highway Patrol with their response to the crash. Please contact the Kansas Highway Patrol for additional information regarding the crash report. 

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash in the 1000 block of S Seth Child Rd on October 26, 2024, at approximately 2:35 p.m. Upon arrival, Officers filed a report for aggravated battery. A 42-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 24-year-old male driver struck another vehicle with his vehicle.  

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, battery and criminal threat in the 2100 block of Fort Riley Blvd in Manhattan on October 26, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m. A 46-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported a 54-year-old man threatened the victims and battered a victim. Adrian Watson, 54, of Manhattan was arrested for two counts of aggravated assault, criminal threat and battery. Watson was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.  

Officers filed a report for arson and interference with law enforcement in the 2700 block of Brookglen Circle in Manhattan on October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:25 p.m. A 23 -year-old man and Howie’s Recycling Center were listed as the victims when it was reported a 50-year-old woman started a fire and damaged a dumpster. Joanne Burnett, 50, of Manhattan was arrested for arson and interference with law enforcement. Burnett was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.  

Officers filed a report for aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping in the 500 block of Rio Hondo Way in Manhattan on October 27, 2024, at approximately 3:53 a.m. A 23 -year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported a 33-year-old man pointed a firearm at the victim, took the victims property and forced the victim to change locations. Michael Calvert, 33, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping. Calvert was issued a total bond of $200,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.  

Officers filed a report for aggravated child endangerment in Manhattan on October 27, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m. A 1-year-old boy was listed as the victim when it was reported a 19-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman left the juvenile unattended at a residence. Madyson Green, 19, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated child endangerment. Green was issued a total bond of $6,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Alisia Green, 25, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated child endangerment. Green was issued a total bond of $6,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.  

Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, battery on a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement in the 200 block of N 9th St in Manhattan on October 27, 2024, at approximately 8:29 a.m. A 63-year-old man and a 45 -year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported a 32-year-old woman threatened the victim with a knife and battered a victim. Tiffany Ryals, 32, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated assault, battery on a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement. Ryals was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.  

Amber Flower, 44, of Manhattan was arrested on October 28, 2024, at approximately 12:05 a.m. on a Marshall County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Flower remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $25,000.
