Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report for battery on a law enforcement officer, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with a law enforcement officer in the 400 block of Walters Dr. on October 22, 2024, at approximately 3:20 p.m.  A 35-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were listed as the victims when it was reported a 32-year-old woman trespassed on private property, battered the two victims, was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and interfered with law enforcement.  Tiffany Ryals, 32, of Manhattan was arrested for two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with a law enforcement officer and issued a total bond of $15,000.00.  Ryals remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for aggravated criminal threat, battery and endangering a child in the 400 block of Clydesdale Dr. on October 22, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m.  A 12-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy were listed as the victims when it was reported a 17-year-old boy threatened them with a sharp object and battered one victim.  Lewis Wardrup, 17, of Ogden was arrested for aggravated criminal threat, battery and endangering a child and issued no bond. Wardrup remains confined in the Reno County Juvenile Detention Center at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, aggravated battery, duty of driver to give information, transporting an open container and interference with law enforcement in the 400 block of N 4th St. on October 22, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m.  A 19-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 34-year-old woman struck an object. Tierra Jackson, 34, of Manhattan was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, aggravated battery, duty of driver to give information, transporting an open container and interference with law enforcement and issued a total bond of $12,000.00.  Jackson remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Carey Cortez, 47, of Manhattan was arrested on October 22, 2024 at 8:37 a.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for four counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Cortez was issued a total bond of $250,000 remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. 

Bailey Crumpton, 26, of Manhattan was arrested on October 22, 2024 at 6:19 p.m. on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Crumpton was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Manfred Elocka Ngom, 30, of Manhattan was arrested on October 22, 2024 at 7:35 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Ngom was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
