Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of theft and forgery on August 20, 2024, at approximately 4:34 PM in the 5000 block of Skyway Drive.  Officers listed Hi-Tech Interiors as the victim when it was reported a known subject falsified multiple receipts for labor, finances, and materials spanning back to 2017. Total loss associated with this report is estimated at $120,000.

Officers filed a report of aggravated assault in the 2100 block of Fort Riley Blvd on August 20, 2024, at approximately 6:45 PM.  Officers listed a 61-year-old male as the victim. Robert Williams, 59, of Manhattan, was arrested in connection with this report. Total bond was set at $8,000. Williams was confined at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property in the 1800 block of Anderson Ave on August 20, 2024, at approximately 8:29 PM.  Officers listed a 20-year-old female as the victim when it was reported her Jeep was keyed by an unknown subject. Total loss associated with this report is estimated to be over $1,000.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Alexander Darnell, 19, 0f Manhattan, was arrested on August 20, 2024, at approximately 7:33 PM in 2000 block of Meadowmere. Darnell was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Total bond was set at $10,000. Darnell was not confined at the time of this report.
