Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report of motor vehicle theft in the 300 block of Manhattan Ave on July 8, 2024, at approximately 7:38 AM.  Officers listed a 19-year-old female as the victim when it was reported her 2007 brown Ford Edge was stolen by an unknown suspect. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $7,045. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of criminal destruction of property in the 1900 block of Platt Street on July 8, 2024, at approximately 9:41 AM.  Officers listed Alpha Gamma Rho as the victim when it was reported a window at the property had been pried open by an unknown suspect. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $2,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of theft in the 5500 block of Stone Crest Ct. on July 8, 2024, at approximately 11:49 AM.  Officers listed Manhattan Area Housing Partners as the victim when it was reported a 6X12' trailer was stolen from the property by an unknown suspect. Total estimated loss associated with this report is $2,000. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of criminal destruction of property in the 2100 block of Snowbird Drive on July 8, 2024, at approximately 12:51 PM.  Officers listed a 76-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect keyed his car. Estimated total loss associated with this report is approximately $2,500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report of theft in the 1400 block of Legore Drive on July 8, 2024, at approximately 2:05 PM.  Officers listed a 21-year-old male as the victim when it was reported his Diamondback mountain bike was stolen by an unknown suspect overnight. Total loss associated with this report is approximately $1,000.  Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Cody Adams, 30, of Rose Hill, Kansas, was arrested on July 8, 2024, at approximately 1:21 PM in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road.  Adams was arrested for flee or attempt to elude, driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol, reckless driving, and duty of driver to report accident with an unattended vehicle. Total bond was set at $10,000. Adams was not confined at the time of this report.
