Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the 2000 block of Fort Riley Boulevard in Manhattan on November 3, 2023, around 8:33 AM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 1996 silver Toyota Camry driven by Felicia Jefferson, 52, of Manhattan had crashed. Jefferson was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries.
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and West Randolph Street in Randolph on November 3, 2023, around 8:56 AM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2021 white Dodge Durango driven by Lenita Glanzer, 69, of Randolph, turned in front of a 1999 Dodge 2500 truck driven by Kerwin Mann, 60, of Barnes. Both drivers were transported to Via Christi for treatment of their injuries.
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Green-Randolph Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard in Randolph on November 3, 2023, around 12:13 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2016 black Chevrolet Silverado driven by Thomas Burke, 80, of Smithville Missouri, had crashed with a 2019 white Ford F35 driven by Thomas Darrah, 29, of Waterville, Kansas. Burke was transported to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Burke was issued a citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1100 block of Vattier Street in Manhattan on November 3, 2023, around 3:30 PM. Officers listed a 20-year-old male and a 22-year-old male as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a Kia Forte and a Honda Civic parked in a driveway. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,150. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Stanley Finn, 64, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan on November 3, 2023, around 11:00 AM. Finn was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation (x2). The original charges were for DUI and domestic battery. Finn was issued a total bond of $7,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Elizabeth Parker, 37, of Manhattan was arrested while in Riley County on November 3, 2023, around 7:30 AM. Parker was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for possession of opiates. Parker was issued a total bond of $30,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Elijah McLeroy, 22, of Junction City, was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on November 4, 2023, around 2:30 PM. McLeroy was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear (x2). The original charge was for driving while suspended. McLeroy was issued a total bond of $31,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for fraud in Riley County on November 5, 2023, around 11:55 AM. Officers listed a 64-year-old female as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect copied her financial card and used it at Home Depot and Taco Bell.
