Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed a report for battery and aggravated criminal restraint in the 800 block of Walters Drive in Manhattan on October 30, 2023, around 9:49 AM. Officers listed a 55-year-old male, a 40-year-old male, and an 18-year-old male as the victims. A known juvenile suspect was arrested and transported to the Junction City Juvenile Detention Facility.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1300 block of Laramie Street in Manhattan on October 30, 2023, around 10:24 AM. Officers listed the City of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported a known male suspect damaged the parking garage elevator. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,000.
Jason Calhoun, 45, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 500 block of South 15th Street in Manhattan on October 30, 2023, around 2:15 PM. Calhoun was arrested on probable cause offenses of 2 separate instances of burglary. Calhoun was issued a total bond of $10,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
