Officers filed a report for aggravated assault at the intersection of S. Delaware Ave and Fort Riley Blvd n Manhattan on February 29, 2024, around 4:03 PM. A 53-year-old male was listed as the victim when it was reported another male known to the victim threatened him with a blunt object.
Officers filed a report for fraud/worthless check/theft in the 500 block of McCall Road in Manhattan on February 29, 2024,, around 7:33 PM. Officers listed Menards as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect used a fraudulent check to pay for services. The estimated total loss associated with this case is estimated to be $6,072. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Brian Droge, 43, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 400 block of Poyntz Ave in Manhattan on February 29, 2024 around 6:42 AM. Droge was arrested on probable cause offenses of burglary non-dwelling and burglary locked non-dwelling. Droge was issued a total bond of $15,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
Deandra Brown, 34, of Manhattan, was arrested while in the 1800 block of College Ave in Manhattan on March 1, 2024, at approximately 3:42 AM. Brown was arrested on probable cause offenses of criminal damage to property value $1,000- $25,000 and criminal damage to property value less than $1,000. Brown was issued a total bond of $12,000 and was confined at the time of this report.
