Manhattan, Kan. -

Officers filed a report for a hit-and-run crash in the 700 block of Wildcat Creek in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 8:37 AM. Officers listed a 50-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged a mailbox by hitting it with a vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for burglary/theft in the 1100 block of Kearney Street in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 11:27 AM. Officers listed a 22-year-old male and three 21-year-old males as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect took a neon Budlight sign with a K-State Wildcat mascot from the victim’s residence. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the 1000 block of Scenic Drive in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 2:24 PM. When officers arrived on scene they found a 2013 gray Honda Fit driven by Isaih Endres, 20, of Fort Riley had crashed with a 2023 blue Yamaha MT03 driven by Shay White, 24, of Manhattan. White was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Endres was issued a notice to appear for failure to yield the right of way. 

Kassi Martin, 26, of Manhattan was arrested while in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan on October 20, 2023, around 10:11 AM. Martin was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for abuse of a child and aggravated endangering a child. The original crime was reported to have occurred in June 2023. Martin was issued a total bond of $50,000 and was confined at the time of this report. 

Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery and domestic-related criminal damage to property in Manhattan on October 21, 2023, around 9:05 AM. Officers listed a 24-year-old female as the victim and a known male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported no additional information will be released. 

Officers responded to the report of a crash near US24 milepost 311 or Pfeil Creek Circle and River Pond Road on October 21, 2023, around 8:28 AM. Officers filed a report for larceny from a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Pebblebrook Circle in Manhattan on October 21, 2023, around 3:05 PM. Officers listed a 20-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took a Great Lakes Firearm Rifle, AR-15, Model DB15 Chambered IN .233, 16” barrel, and OD green with a sniper scope. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,600. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers responded to the report of a fatality crash near the 5000 block of Tuttle Creek Boulevard in Manhattan on October 21, 2023, around 8:46 PM. Officers filed a report for aggravated assault, flee and elude, battery, possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, and interference with law enforcement in the 1200 block of Fremont Street in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 2:10 AM. Officers listed a 22-year-old male as the victim when it was reported the victim was punched and threats were made with a gun. Sumjai Kounnavong, 24, of Salina was arrested in connection while in the 1800 block of Fairchild Avenue in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 2:55 AM. Kounnavong was arrested on probable cause offenses of aggravated assault and fleeing or attempt to elude a law enforcement officer. Kounnavong was issued a total bond of $20,000 and was confined at the time of this report. Trenton Baltazor, 23, of Salina was arrested while in the 1800 block of Fairchild Avenue on October 22, 2023, around 2:55 AM. Baltazor was arrested on probable cause offenses of possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, and battery. Baltazor was issued a total bond of $5,000 and was confined at the time of this report. 

Officers responded to the report of an injury crash near the intersection of Cimarron Trail and Wilderness Trail in Ogden on October 22, 2023, around 10:09 AM. When officers arrived on scene they found a grey 2019 Nissan Rogue driven by Matthew Barner, 34, had crashed. Barner was transported to Irwin Army Community Hospital. 

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 600 block of Kearney Street in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 10:35 AM. Officers listed a 74-year-old female as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect damaged her 2021 Toyota Camry. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,500. Julian Drish, 34, of Manhattan was arrested on probable cause offenses of aggravated domestic battery, battery on LEO, criminal deprivation of property, and interference with LEO while in the 500 block of Stone Drive on October 22, 2023, around 12:03 PM. Drish was issued a total bond of $10,000 and was not confined at the time of this report. 

Officers filed a report for theft in the 2800 block of Claflin Road in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 1:27 PM. Officers listed a 38-year-old female as the victim when it was reported a known female suspect took a Bose speaker, a pink shirt, change, and prescription medication from the victim. The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $200. Kelli Stockton, 27, of Manhattan was arrested in connection in the 1100 block of Westport on probable cause offenses of traffic contraband into a correctional/care facility, burglary, possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, and burglary. Stockton was issued a total bond of $7,000 and was confined at the time of this report. 

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 1300 block of North 11th Street in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 3:54 PM. Officers listed a 22-year-old female and an 18-year-old female as the victims when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged the back windshields on a 2016 black Audi A3 and a 2010 silver Toyota Prius. The estimated total loss associated with this case is not currently listed but is expected to be over $500. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft in the 1200 block of Yuma Street in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 4:43 PM. Officers listed a 44-year-old male as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took 4 silver ladders from the residence. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $690. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for aggravated assault in Manhattan on October 22, 2023, around 11:46 PM. Officers listed a 37-year-old male as the victim and a known male as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic) no additional information will be released.
