Manhattan, Kan. -
Officers filed multiple reports for theft in the 800 block of Commons Pl. in Manhattan on August 15, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m. Target was listed as the victim when it was reported a 17-year-old male suspect had stolen various packs of sports cards during five separate incidents over the course of several weeks for an approximate total loss of $1,100.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property near the intersection of Lasita Rd. and Lisita Branch on August 15, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m. A 62-year-old man was listed as the victim when he reported two trail cameras and a swather tire were damaged during July for an approximate loss of $1,200. Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
Jason Curry, 38, of Ogden was arrested on August 15, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Curry remains confined in the Riley County Jail with a total bond of $5,000.
