The Riley County Police Department had the first of a series of five DUI Saturation Patrols on the evening of March 7, 2014 into the early morning hours of March 8, 2014.
Five officers from the Riley County Police Department were assigned to the Saturation Patrol. Officers working the Saturation Patrol stopped thirty-five (35) motorists. Of these, four (4) were arrested for DUI. There were also five (5) subjects charged with alcohol related offenses and two (2) for possession of a controlled substance. Additionally, there were three (3) traffic citations and twenty-seven (27) warnings issued.
