There is a correction to the spelling of the victim’s name. It is actually spelled Murrell. We apologize for the error.
On 8/4/1977, the Riley County Police Department was called to North Crest Trailer Park (Hunter’s Island), where the body of Warren “Tiger” Lewis was discovered.
A person of interest has recently been developed after speaking with a witness from that period. The Riley County Police would like to speak to the ex-wife of Dewayne Morrell, also known as "Cornbocker”. Her first name might be Wynonna, and she is believed to reside in New York. She may also have an uncle that goes by the name of Dennis White who possibly passed away several months ago. It is also believed that Dewayne Morrell passed away in the 1980’s.
