It is unlawful to display or possess any fictitious or fraudulently altered driver’s license. A conviction is punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and up to six months in jail.

It is unlawful to lend your driver’s license for another person to use or to display another person’s driver’s license as your own. A conviction is punishable by a fine of up to $2,500 and up to one year in jail.

It is unlawful to lend your driver’s license to a minor to purchase alcohol, or to use or display a fictitious driver’s license to obtain alcohol. A first conviction is punishable by a fine between $200 and $500 and at least 100 hours of community service. Court costs of $98 are assessed for ID offenses.
